Clif's December 2005 DVD Pics
Hey, gang! Clif here with some better-late-than-never picks for December. You know, there are a ton of good movies coming out on DVD this month and that's a problem. It's a problem because most of the movies coming out have already been hyped up so much that there's no need for me to recommend them...so I've chosen a few here that may have slipped under your cinematic radar. Enjoy!
Airplane "Don't Call Me Shirley" Edition
Release Date: 12/13
Remember back in the eighties when the airline industry was full of stewardesses in short skirts, cigar chomping pilots, and wacky madcap comedy instead of maniacal, facist, religious zealot towel heads? Boy those were the days!

The Dukes of Hazzard Seasons 1-5
Release Date: 12/13
This is probably the single most important contribution to the tapestry of human experience since Homer's "The Iliad." Yeeeeehaw, I say...Yeeeehaw, indeed.

Post Apocalyptic Triple Feature
Release Date: 12/13
"The first to die were the lucky ones!" Oddly enough, this was also the slogan at my last high school reunion. If there's anything movies like these teach us it's that whenever the world starts coming to an end you'd better rip off your sleeves, grab a chainsaw and/or shotgun, jump in a dune buggy, and go kill some goddamn mutants! Oddly enough, this is exactly what I did at my last high school reunion!

Johnny Cash: Live From Austin

Believe it or not, this guy was actually a solo act before joining Soundgarden and Nine Inch Nails.

New York Dolls: All Dolled Up
Release Date: 12/20
These are the guys who started that musical holocaust we call "Glam." Thanks, fellas...thanks a lot.
