Good afternoon My name is Clif and this planet’s yellow sun has endowed me with the ability to be judgmental and critical of other people’s endeavors at a level far superior to all other humans. It has also given me a fantastic capacity for speaking at length and with great authority on subjects I know practically nothing about. This is what makes me a great film critic.

I guess my love of movies began when my parents first took me to see Star Wars thereby turning me into one of the most expensive and obnoxious children on earth. I begged for and received ALL the Star Wars toys from the Luke Skywalker in Jedi outfit to the Luke Skywalker in Jedi outfit AND cape, because that’s how they made those old Kenner Star Wars toys, one action figure for every possible incarnation of the character on screen.

My taste in movies has since broadened and matured giving me a vast array of tastes in film styles and subject matter. For instance, not only do I love movies that involve things being blown up, but I also love movies that involve things being blown up in slow motion. And since I have, as of this year, officially made it through an entire movie with subtitles without falling asleep or setting my hair on fire, I can now add to my film critic resume that of pretentious wine sniffing foreign film watching snob. Of course, this was a Japanese movie about ninja zombies blowing things up in slow motion, but none-the-less I am now officially better than you…you Police Academy watching cretin…man, those were great movies! Like when that guy made all those crazy sound effects with his mouth! Awesome!

Favorite Actors: Jack Nicholson, Robert Duvall, Jeff Daniels, Harrison Ford.
Favorite Movies: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Big Lebowski, Raiders of the Lost Ark, many, many more.
Favorite Genres: Any good movie in any genre is okay by me.
